in modern society, the conversation between people is mainly done in digital and the words come and go through speech balloons. the design work has begun from the fact that people do sit on chairs when communicating even online. The seat and the backrests of the chair resemble speech balloons. you can feel comfort and tension at the same time by the delicate curves flowing along the chair and narrow bridge. to create the chair with the narrow bridge, highly pressed plywood and fiber were used. stability of the chair was enhanced by adopting metal sheet for upholstery version, and steel loop for plywood version. you can move and store the chair easily with stackable design. there are two versions of the balloon chair available depending on the material used for the body. plywood version has 3 colors; walnut, oak and black stained. and upholstery version has 5 colors; 2 colors, chocolate and orange in Kvadrat waterbone and 3 colors in kvadrat molly which create warm mood.
